“Clean and spacious for two people. Easy to come and go with the code on the door instead of carrying around a key. As described, there were some bugs, but I guess you can’t get around that. The footsteps from upstairs, and the water from the pipes were quite loud, but that was also expected being in the basement. It’s about a 10 minute walk to restaurants and stores on 14th Ave; not a big deal except when you have a heavy haul of groceries from Trader Joe’s. Home Sweet City was always very responsive and pleasant. Enjoyed our stay!”

“My stay in Home Sweet City’s apartment was great! The apartment was very clean and had just what I needed for my short stay. The hosts were very responsive and ensured I had a great experience while there. The neighborhood was also very close (walking distance) to the National Mall and Union Station, which was perfect for me. Overall, the apartment was perfect for my needs and time in D.C.!”
“Good stay, very clean. The sleeper couch was good the first couple of nights but the 3rd and 4th night it was getting uncomfortable which I expected. It is in a basement so you do hear the footsteps of everyone above you but that didn’t bother me too much. There are also strict rules on separating the recycling from trash which I wasn’t used to since we don’t recycle as much in my state, but that may be normal to other people! Overall I can’t complain and got this place on a discount so I was happy!”
