“A picturesque stay in a quiet Washington neighbourhood. We loved the house and its classic decor.
Unfortunately, there wasn’t suitable linen to sleep 5 people on our first night in January. We were given 2 extra blankets, but were still missing warm doonas for 2 guests during our winter stay. We appreciated the host delivering the blankets after the snow storm, but please note there was only linen for 3 people when we arrived.
The dryer also wasn’t working, which was disappointing as it was listed as an amenity. I’d also mention for a winter stay that the heater is quite loud when it switches on intermittently overnight.
The property is lovely and we appreciated the hosts’ communication, though a few small maintenance issues needed attention during our stay.
Buses are easily accessible from the property, the neighbourhood feels safe and quiet, and it was a great way to experience Washington DC.”
