“My family of five really enjoyed our stay on Randolph! The place was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Although DC has street parking, we had no trouble finding a spot near the house and left our vehicle there throughout our stay.
The home was just two blocks from the Metro, with a supermarket less than a block away. There were also plenty of great restaurants within walking distance. We really recommend St Matteo!

“Very comfortable and convenient stay–beds and linens were very comfortable. The shower was great. Very quiet, and friendly and kind neighbors. It was easy to find a close parking space on the street, but even though we’d properly registered for a guess parking permit a couple of days before, we still got a $35 ticket. (This of course is a DC parking enforcement issue, not a host issue.) It’ll probably be overturned on appeal, since the help line immediately found our approved permit and told me we’d done everything right, but it’s kind of a pain to now have to deal with the appeal. Even by our second day, our tags were still coming up as unpermitted in the parking enforcement scanner. I’d still rent there again, though, because it’s a great value and the walking-distance proximity to certain appointments was great.”
“What a pleasant surprise. Traveling with our granddaughter who was happy and comfortable in her nicely decorated room with a place for all her little things. We had everything we needed to cook quick meals to avoid eating out 3xa day. The short walk to the park, the capital, and the Supreme Court left driving to a minimum. The neighborhood was clean and safe with patrols visible to lesson the worries of safety and security, even at and after sunset when the weather was cool and the picture taking around the capital was prime. The hosts were great and quickly responded to any questions we had. I can’t say enough good about our stay and if and when we go back we will definitely re-book Home sweet City.”
“This was a great place to stay when visiting DC. We loved the area with its beautiful row houses and easy walk to the metro. So many yummy restaurants within a few blocks of the apartment. They provided so many amenities that we did not have to buy many things during our stay. Super responsive hosts and they communicated everything we needed to know during our stay. My favorite part was the absolutely beautiful neighborhood and the ease of parking right at the Airbnb.”
