“I was here for a week and really liked the stay! The location is literally unbeatable — you’re right next to one of the busiest streets in all of the city, and there’s a ton to do right outside your door. It’s also well-provisioned: I did a fiar amount of cooking while I was there — the kitchen was quite nice — and I also did laundry twice.
The place itself is quite spacious and well-furnished with a tasteful selection of books and two TVs.
The only downside was the noise: you do get some noise from the upstairs unit. But it was quite manageable and only during the daytime; I had no trouble sleeping.”

I noticed a few gnats during my stay, which is understandable during the summer, and a slight older/mildewy smell in the bathroom, but neither took away from an otherwise enjoyable and convenient stay.”

“Great spot in Washington Dc. Easy walk from train station. Very eclectic and relaxed home. Individual “mini-splits” in bedroom was welcomed as it’s really hot and humid outside. Stairs are very creaky so worked as alarm clock to get kids up and moving each morning. Loved the bike theme as we biked everywhere in DC.”

This place is an absolute gem. It’s got that lovely boutique hotel feel, but with a warm, family-friendly touch that makes you feel instantly at home. The house itself is relaxing and beautifully set up, and it was exactly as described and pictured, no surprises, just as lovely in person.
Tucked away in a cosy, quiet suburb, it’s the perfect spot if you want peace and privacy, but you’re still only a 15-minute walk from the station, and a quick $10-15 Uber ride gets you pretty much anywhere. With supermarkets, restaurants and playgrounds on the foorstep too. Best of both worlds.
On top of all that, the communication and support were amazing. Any questions we had were answered within minutes, genuinely some of the best hosting we’ve experienced.
Can’t recommend this place enough. If you’re after a quiet home away from home with easy access to everything, this is the spot.”
