Kids Euro Festival 2019 - October 26 - November 10, 2019
This educational smorgasbord of free activities throughout the city is great for the entire family! A wonderful way to introduce other cultures through mediums of art, dance, cuisine and more!

Superfine Art Fair - October 30 - November 3, 2019
Superfine! Art Fair is returning to DC for the second annual fair at Union Market, October 30 - November 3, 2019. Imagine a Halloween weekend filled with curated performances, where you can meet and talk directly to artists, all the while surrounding yourself with beautiful, affordable art by up-and-coming artists from the District and beyond -- with prices starting at just $100. 
Meet 80+ up-and-coming artaists in person, discover your next obsession, and fill your walls with amazing art you can afford starting at just $100. Besides the art, boogie to a curated music program including DC fave DJ Jahsonic, live sax sounds by way of Miami's Leon Morley, and other local + global stars. Performance art, educational panels, and an enviable cocktail program round out this year's fair.  

DMV Black Restaurant Week - November 3 - 10, 2019
Show support for African American owned restaurants in the District! Includes an array of partners and a cocktail competition. 

Mount Vernon - Various Events 
George Washington’s 18th century estate is not to be missed. Enjoy a “living museum” as you interact with George and Martha, and experience one of the many educational (and enteratining) events ongoing this month. 

Ice Skating Guides  
Lace up and glide onto the ice at any one of the various rinks throughout the city. 

Charity Walks in the District - Varying times and locations
~ Now is the season to get your giving on! Tons of charity walks take place this season in the area. Get some exercise for a great cause and enjoy the fall weather of DC!

Turkey Trots in Washington, DC, Maryland and Northern Virginia
In a similarly charitable fashion, burn some calories for a good cause while celebrating the season. Some trots support specific causes, others are just for fun!

Museum Shop Holiday at the Strathmore  - November 7-10, 2019
Holiday Shoppers listen up! Over 20 non-profit organizations bring their museum gift shops merchandise to the immaculate ‘Mansion at Strathmore’ to showcase their artisan goods, while you get ahead of the game on the gift front! One of a kind items!

Veteran’s Day in the District - November 11, 2019
Honor the soldiers who have served our country, and celebrate American Veterans. Commemorating those who lost their lives, on the day World War 1 ended in 1918, the city has a plethora of excellent & moving events, remembering and admiring those who sacrificed so much. The perfect day for Monument viewings.

Not to be missed! This family friendly event is the perfect way to start the holiday season; the overarching theme this year is dedicated to Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas. Enter the exhibit hall and discover a decorated Christmas town square, complete with holiday merchandise, a hot chocolate stand, Santa’s sleigh, and a carousel ride.

Downtown DC Holiday Market - November 22 - December 23, 2019
Through December 23, 2015. Sidewalk on F Street between 7th and 9th in front of the National Portrait Gallery. Enjoy a unique seasonal shopping marketplace of downtown Washington DC including gift items by more than 180 exhibitors.

Gettysburg Remembrance Day Parade and Illumination - November 23, 2019
This wonderful ceremony commemorates the establishment of the Soldiers’ National Cemetery on Remembrance Day following the Battle of Gettysburg in 1863. The Cemetery dedicated 17 acres to bury more than 3,500 fallen Union troops. Lincoln delivered his iconic Gettysburg address whose words still carry so much weight to this day on the very grounds. 

Six Flags America, MD: Holiday in the Park 2019 - November 23 - January 1, 2019
This winter, for its third year in a row, Six Flags transforms itself into a Winter Wonderland! 
Boasting seasonal treats, Santa’s village, and other holiday entertainment, this event is not to be missed!

Presidential Turkey Pardon - TBA
Witness the timeless tradition of Potus pardoning a live Thanksgiving Turkey! Sure to be a light, fun, and family friendly event in the White House Rose Garden!
