The Metro, 16th St. shopping at DC USA, Mount Pleasant’s restaurants, coffee houses and shops, Rock Creek Park, and the Adams Morgan neighborhood are all within easy walking distance. Washington DC’s iconic monuments and museums are a short Metro, taxi, bus or Uber ride away.

We can comfortably sleep 3/4 guests in a queen sized bed, and a full sized loveseat sofa bed - ideal for families, couples, business traveler's, and the like. There is a European "bijou" kitchen perfect for whipping up a small meal before embarking on your adventures, and Adam's Morgan is known for it's plethora of excellent restaurants, so foodies will be right at home.

We are always available for any questions or issues that may arise during your stay. We also provide a welcome ipad/tablet stocked with our local recommendations and neighborhood favorites!

Guest Access
Guests will have access to the entire apartment. It is not shared. 24 hour access available by use of a lockbox. 

The Neighborhood
Adam’s Morgan is a stone’s throw from the home, and is a hub of activity! No shortage of restaurants and bars down 18th St, and just parallel lies Columbia Rd, for a slower paced night out with can’t miss designer restaurants!

Modern trends and styles flow through the historic row homes and streets, creating an atmosphere that can’t be beat!

Mount Pleasant offers a community feel while situated in the heart of the city - weekend farmer’s markets, antiquing, and biking through the historic Rock Creek Park are just the tip of the iceberg for activities and entertainment options, not to mention restaurant hopping! Some of our favorites are:
Beau Thai Mount Pleasant - 3162 Mt. Pleasant St. NW (excellent Thai food)

Mola - 3155 Mt. Pleasant St NW (great Spanish food, Mola and Purple Patch are in same building)

Purple Patch - 3155 Mt. Pleasant St NW (Filipino/American cuisine)

Elle - 3122 Mt. Pleasant St. NW (fabulous new coffee and gourmet bakery plus dining)

Tail Up Goat - 1827 Adams Mill Rd. NW - has a Michelin One star!

Getting Around
The location is amazing! Walking distance from the Zoo, Adam's Morgan neighborhood and metro as well various buses to quickly take you to all the major sights. Capital Bikeshare's surround the area as well, so for those inclined, its a great way to borrow a bike and explore the area!
Parking Permit included, which allows guests to park unrestricted on the street!

Other things to note
~ The ceilings are on the lower side (6' 6" in the main space) - most guests have issue but if you're over 6ft you might find the bathroom ceiling low (at the lowest height it is 6'1").

~ We want you to make the most of your stay, so we've partnered with DC’s longest-running city tour company Old Town Trolley Tours to help ensure an amazing visit, at the best rate possible! Sit back and relax as the finest, most highly-trained and knowledgeable guides take you through the city, to soak up the surrounding history.

House Rules
~ Strict NO party policy. Please note that smoking of any kind and drug use in or around the property is strictly prohibited (this includes outside spaces). If we do find evidence of illegal substances or marijuana use, the reservation will be automatically canceled with no refund. 
~ Strict NO pets policy. 
~ We insist that for group bookings renters are above the age of 25, unless agreed prior to making your reservation. (Families with children under 25 are very welcome). Due to fire code and insurance requirements the property has a maximum occupancy and additional guests must have our advance approval.
~ We may ask for additional proof of identity / address (passport / drivers license etc) and reason for stay such as work contracts or permits.
~ We may ask for an additional security deposit for larger groups or longer stays. 
~ Due to our tight cleaning schedules, charges apply for unannounced late check-outs. 
~ Exterior may be monitored by exterior cameras, there are no cameras indoors. 
~The neighborhood is a strong community and everyone looks out for each other, we ask that folks please be mindful of noise that could disturb in the early mornings and late at night. 
~ One parking permit can be provided for your stay. If it is not left in the apartment after your stay, there is a $500 replacement charge plus any parking fees incurred by the next guest as a result of the permit not being available. If the permit is missing on arrival please let us know and we will do all we can to locate it but we cannot guarantee it's availability. Unfortunately we cannot be responsible for any parking fees, tickets or towing charges incurred as a result of a pass not being available. Please ask about suggestions for nearby parking options.
~ While luggage is expected, we strictly prohibit large items (including, but not limited to, bicycles and exercise equipment) being brought into the unit without prior approval.
~ If your booking spans 2 weeks or longer, we may require a “deep clean” following your check-out. 
~ Prior to you checking in, the property has been inspected to confirm there are no damages and everything is in working order.  If upon checking in, you discover something broken or not working, please let us know immediately.
~ Please be sure that ALL of the windows and doors are closed if the HVAC is running.
~ Please do NOT flush anything other than toilet paper down the toilets.
~ PARKING IMPORTANT! : If you need parking, you will need to request parking IN ADVANCE of your arrival, by signing up for the DC's digital parking pass program. We will provide a unique property code that allows you to request a Visitor’s Parking Pass via the portal. You will then need to print the digital pass (we cannot print passes for you) and place it on your car dashboard when you need to park. If this is not done in advance of your stay, we cannot be held responsible. If you can't print before your stay please let us know if you would like us to share nearby printing resources.
