European accents and a welcoming grand piano create this beautiful zen space to unwind after enjoying the sights. Hard to believe that steps away you are in the heart of Logan Circle’s hustle and bustle! An amazing historic home from which to explore our nations Capital!

The Space
Every room is uniquely different lovingly designed each one distinguished from the last by original artwork, color and textures. 

Located in a boutique traditional rowhome on a tree-lined street, this Parisian inspired space boasts two stories, 2 bedrooms, a comfortable office (which doubles as a sleeping space), a cozy basement escape (with a sofa bed), beautiful original hardwood floors, stunning artwork, and a great chef’s kitchen on its first floor.

We can comfortably sleep 7 guests. The sophisticated and luxurious master bedroom boasts a comfortable Californian king sized bed. There’s also a TV with cable included. Enjoy the charming loveseat - perfect for people watching and unwinding after exploring the city resting outside your door. Mirrored furniture gleams in the natural sunlight, and curtains are included for additional privacy. 

Enjoy sweet dreams in the second bedroom; rest your head in the Victorian style full sized bed, and wake up feeling like royalty. 

There is a functional office for those traveling on business. Guests will have access to a laptop friendly workspace, excellent wifi, an additional TV with cable channels.

Downstairs, guests will find another living / sleeping space in the cozy den area. The large "suite" boasts a smart TV with cable, sofa bed with an incorporated inflatable double mattress, a veritable library of reading material, exposed brick and beams, a full bathroom and washer/dryer. 

The full kitchen is ideal for those hoping to don their chef's hat, but with dining options galore, chances are you may not even use it!  
Prepare dinner, or simply decompress after sight seeing beside the grand piano (players encouraged but please - no sticky fingers), or enjoy a true rarity in the city; Your very own spacious, private patio - perfect for enjoying morning coffee or an evening glass of wine, complete with furniture and fire pit.

The elegant dining room is an ideal communal space to enjoy meals, and eachother's company. Modern light fixtures and original artwork surround the space creating a feast for the eyes. The space is perfect for savoring some local flavor or a home cooked meal, and is also condusive for brain storming sessions for those traveling on business, or just planning tomorrow's activities!

No matter the season; our stately Parisian inspired home permits guests to enjoy the best of D.C., all year round. 
High-speed wifi, and a washer/dryer is also included for guests to use.

Guests will have access to the entire unit. It is not shared. 

The Neighborhood
This timeless neighborhood is perfect for those to experience the city as a resident rather then a tourist - Logan Circle is undoubtedly the city's best neighborhood for restaurants, bars, shops, and nightlife. The unit is directly off the Circle and is 1 block from the 14th street corridor: Whole Foods, Starbucks, CVS, and multiple bars/restaurants on every block. The city's trendiest bars and restaurants have located along 14th Street and the U Street Corridor - both within easy walking distance - so it's the perfect location for a nice dinner or to enjoy a night on the town. We include numerous recommendations in the house manual.

All of these amenities are only a short away, and so is the noise. This unit is located on a quiet residential street directly off Logan Circle.

Getting Around
Logan Circle is in the middle of all metro lines - access to the Red line, Orange/Blue/Silver, and Yellow/Green lines are located at 3 different stations all located within blocks of this unit, the closest being Shaw-Howard Metro Station. Dupont Circle metro is less then 20 minutes on foot from the home and offers some of the best restaurants and upscale retail locations in the city!
Several bus lines have stops located less than 1 block from the unit as well. Ubers are readily available (usually a 1-2 minute wait) and it costs around $6-10 or less to get anywhere in the city due to the convenient location.

Sit back and relax as the finest, most highly-trained and knowledgeable guides take you through the city, to soak up the surrounding history.

House Rules
~ Strict NO party policy. Please note that smoking of any kind and drug use in or around the property is strictly prohibited (this includes outside spaces). If we do find evidence of illegal substances or marijuana use, the reservation will be automatically canceled with no refund. 
~ Strict NO pets policy. 
~ We insist that for group bookings renters are above the age of 25, unless agreed prior to making your reservation. (Families with children under 25 are very welcome). Due to fire code and insurance requirements the property has a maximum occupancy and additional guests must have our advance approval.
~ We may ask for additional proof of identity / address (passport / drivers license etc) and reason for stay such as work contracts or permits.
~ We may ask for an additional security deposit for larger groups or longer stays. 
~ Due to our tight cleaning schedules, charges apply for unannounced late check-outs. 
~ Exterior may be monitored by exterior cameras, there are no cameras indoors. 
~The neighborhood is a strong community and everyone looks out for each other, we ask that folks please be mindful of noise that could disturb in the early mornings and late at night. 
~ While luggage is expected, we strictly prohibit large items (including, but not limited to, bicycles and exercise equipment) being brought into the unit without prior approval.
~ If your booking spans 2 weeks or longer, we may require a “deep clean” following your check-out. 
~ Prior to you checking in, the property has been inspected to confirm there are no damages and everything is in working order.  If upon checking in, you discover something broken or not working, please let us know immediately.
~ Please be sure that ALL of the windows and doors are closed if the HVAC is running.
~ Please do NOT flush anything other than toilet paper down the toilets.

Property Manager
The team at Home Sweet City is very professional and responsive to requests or questions. They share several means to reach them so you are guaranteed a response in reasonable time. We really liked that about the team. They made sure we were okay within their zone of influence. Lara, Alex, Kerstin - thank you for being great hosts.
The Grand Piano at Logan Circle is a lovely place. It has everything you need for a good stay away from home. Its within walking distance to shops and restaurants but nested in a quiet neighborhood. We welcomed that feature a lot.
