The Space
Our modern and gleaming 2 bedroom and 2 bathroom apartment boasts high end furnishings and cozy amenities to make your trip to The District one of a kind. 

The entire house was fully renovated in 2021 and all of the suite’s amenities are brand new. The unit is completely separate from the upstairs residence with its own private access. Also included is a truly stunning rooftop deck - experience D.C. from the skyline!

There is street parking around the apartment, and we are within walking distance to all the Shaw, Logan Circle, U and 14th St nightlife, in addition to easy access to the downtown attractions including the National Mall, the Convention Center, the Capitol and White House, etc. 

The space offers 2 bedrooms (queen sized bed & king sized bed) each with their own private bathroom (the master has an en-suite). 

There is a comfy sofa in the living space where guests can unwind together after a day of exploring the city. A fully stocked kitchen, to prepare meals should you wish to relax at home. 

The unit also has its own separate heating and HVAC system for temperature control, includes a smart TV, high-speed internet access and last but not least - its own washer dryer. 

The pièce de résistance is undoubtably the rooftop deck; with unbeatable skyline views of the city, guests can have their morning coffee with the sunrise, or evening glass of wine with the sunset. 

Whether you are visiting for work or pleasure, our charming apartment provides a relaxing oasis to unwind after a day in the city.

Guest Access
Full use of the entire English basement apartment. Private entrance and on street parking. Please be aware that the rooftop access is restricted after 9pm.

The Neighborhood
Bloomingdale / Shaw neighborhood is a trendy neighborhood, popular with families and the younger DC crowd. It's residential, but has great access to downtown. If you want to stay in the neighborhood, stroll a few blocks down the magnificent tree-lined streets to find neighborhood favorites like Red Hen, Bacio Pizzeria, Big Bear Cafe, Showtime, The Royal, and so much more! Pop down to Yoga District for your daily workout, the (secret...shhh!) Crispus Attucks Park for a picnic, or head over to Sylvan Cafe for coffee and a quick treat. And there are many more great food options in the NoMA / Gallaudet and Bloomingdale neighborhoods. We provide a property guide stock full of our local favorites!

Getting Around
We are a short walk from the Shaw / Howard University Station which runs the Green Line (15 min) and guests can walk to the Noma/Galludet Metro (Red Line)  in under 20 minutes! 

From Noma/Galludet Metro you are just two stops from Union Station - 10 minutes away from the U.S. Capitol Building, the Smithsonian Museums, and the National Mall. The 80 bus can take you directly to Union Station in 15 minutes, and the stop is 2 minutes from the apartment at North Capitol St & T St . From Union Station, guests can access the DCWE (DC Circulator bus) which can take you all over the city! 

We are also located two miles from Brookland/CUA Metro (80 bus can have you there in 15 minutes) and the Catholic University.

Uber taxi's are plentiful in the area as well!

Notes

~ Strict NO party policy. Please note that smoking of any kind and drug use in or around the property is strictly prohibited (this includes outside spaces). If we do find evidence of illegal substances or marijuana use, the reservation will be automatically canceled with no refund. 
~ Strict NO pets policy. 
~ We insist that for group bookings renters are above the age of 25, unless agreed prior to making your reservation. (Families with children under 25 are very welcome). Due to fire code and insurance requirements the property has a maximum occupancy and additional guests must have our advance approval.
~ We may ask for additional proof of identity / address (passport / drivers license etc) and reason for stay such as work contracts or permits.
~ We may ask for an additional security deposit for larger groups or longer stays. 
~ Due to our tight cleaning schedules, charges apply for unannounced late check-outs. 
~ Exterior may be monitored by exterior cameras, there are no cameras indoors. 
~The neighborhood is a strong community and everyone looks out for each other, we ask that folks please be mindful of noise that could disturb in the early mornings and late at night. 
~ While luggage is expected, we strictly prohibit large items (including, but not limited to, bicycles and exercise equipment) being brought into the unit without prior approval.
~ One parking permit can be provided for your stay. If it is not left in the apartment after your stay, there is a $500 replacement charge plus any parking fees incurred by the next guest as a result of the permit not being available. If the permit is missing on arrival please let us know and we will do all we can to locate it but we cannot guarantee it's availability. Unfortunately we cannot be responsible for any parking fees, tickets or towing charges incurred as a result of a pass not being available. Please ask about suggestions for nearby parking options.
~ If your booking spans 2 weeks or longer, we may require a “deep clean” following your check-out. 
~ Prior to you checking in, the property has been inspected to confirm there are no damages and everything is in working order.  If upon checking in, you discover something broken or not working, please let us know immediately.
~ Please be sure that ALL of the windows and doors are closed if the HVAC is running.
~ Please do NOT flush anything other than toilet paper down the toilets.
 
Accidental Damage Protection & Guest Verification Policy 
~ We have partnered with SafelyStay Inc to give our guests and our homeowners added peace of mind during your stay with us! We know accidents happen so your reservation includes damage protection for you for up to ($1,500) of accidental coverage for contents and dwelling damage. For reservations longer than 29 nights, additional fees may be charged in order to extend coverage for the entire stay. We also verify the identity of our guests to prevent fraudulent or criminal activity. By booking this reservation you give permission to SafelyStay, Inc. to verify your identity, and check criminal databases in order to confirm the reservation. (This is NOT a credit check).
